It’s always amazing to watch the younger generation interact with technology. Kids who haven’t even started kindergarten are mastering the ipad when back in my day (shakes cane) I could barely figure out my Gameboy. As technology changes more and more rapidly, it can be harder to keep up and certain factors such as household income and parents’ educational level can create a huge disparity in computer access among kids in the same age group. A new curriculum is currently being implemented across the UK with hopes of bridging the gap, but in order for kids to keep up, it’s important for their parents to be computer literate as well.
