Tamara Natalie Madden was born in Jamaica and raised in the UK. She battled life-threatening sickness in her childhood and eventually came to create a body of work that would grace the pages of such publications as The New York Times and Upscale Magazine. Her pieces are also part of several permanent collections. Her work is inspired by the Golden Period of Gustav Klimt and images of West African and Egyptian Royalty.
