I’ve previously shared my relationship with reggae music, particularly dancehall and its contradictions. Over the weekend I relished in a few videos that highlighted the resurgence of “music with a message” in Reggae. Kelissa, a young Reggae artist, was among a small and talented group of artists highlighted in Vice’s “Noisey Jamaica II” (6:22 mark). Kelissa hails from Saint Andrew, Jamaica. She often performs alongside her brother Keznamdi.
