Over the past few weeks, the Obamas have hinted at upcoming projects, including a book release as well as charitable works through the newly established Obama foundation.
The Office of the former President and First Lady sent out an email to former interns, on Friday, announcing the launch of a 16-week internship program in D.C. The program will run from February 27 through June 16.
“Interns will work in the D.C. office of Barack and Michelle Obama doing a variety of tasks, largely centered around correspondence,” the email reads. “The office is looking for interns who take initiative, manage their time well, have strong attention to detail, solid writing skills, and the utmost commitment to public service.”
Sadly, applications actually closed on February 8th, with few details available.
