In addition to being Beyoncé’s fashion right hand for nearly 20 years, Ty Hunter is also a fashion designer, and entrepreneur. And now the longtime stylist can add inventor to his long list of accomplishments.
Hunter’s invention, the Ty-Lite, is a unique phone case that comes with built-in lighting that makes for the perfect selfie lighting when using your front-facing camera. Say goodbye to blurry late night selfies and minutes wasted desperately looking for the right lighting.
The Ty-Lite case has three light settings – “warm” for a glossy effect, “cool” for outdoor lighting, and “brilliant” which Hunter says “gives you that little extra glam.”
“I’m such a selfie king and just wanted that extra light,” Hunter told Glamour Magazine. “Light is so important to look your best.”
Hunter enlisted some celebrity friends to test out the Ty-Lite case, and many have been sharing their snaps on Instagram.
Right now, the Ty-Lite case is available for the iPhone 6, 6s, and 6 Plus. A case Samsung Galaxy S6 is coming in 2016 and iPhone 5s will be available sometime this month. You can order your case HERE.
