Powerful, rousing, and educational, ‘The Black Power Mixtape’ is hands down one of the best docs I’ve seen in recent years.  Swedish journalists came the States in the sixties and seventies to document what was really going on with the Black Power Movement in the land of free, while doing so, showcasing prominent figures in the movement the likes of Angela Davis, in all her radical and thought-provoking glory. This film is certainly one to watch during especially Black History Month. The film is directed by Göran Olsson.
