Francine Thirteen

Indie artist Francine Thirteen delivers another track in the style of her unique ritual pop — a genre that blends religious themes, storytelling, and contemporary music.

.

“Lust Heals, Give Me My Sin Again” draws inspiration from the Bible’s creation story.

“It’s a reclaiming of female power as it relates to sexuality and knowledge of self,” Francine Thirteen tells NPR. “Eve kind of represents the unknowing, submissive and more socially acceptable aspect of female performance. The Lily character represents an empowered feminine essence that takes ownership over one’s own thoughts and one’s own body.”

“Lust Heals, Give Me My Sin Again” is the first single from a forthcoming music and film project.
