Following the premiere of What Happened, Miss Simone? the much-awaited Nina Simone documentary, which recently aired on Netflix, we’ve finally been blessed with a full listen of the accompanying compilation album featuring stars like Lauryn Hill, Jazmine Sullivan, and Mary J. Blige covering some of Simone’s best hits.

Blige, if you might remember, was under consideration for the role of Nina Simone in the now ill-fated biopic by filmmaker Cynthia Mort, starring Zoe Saldana as Simone.

We’ve shared a few of the tracks in the past, but enjoy the entire album, via NPR. As you can see Lauryn Hill, has a major presence on the album. She even infuses some hip-hop into her covers.
