Madame So

Parisian-born, London-based artist of Cameroonian origin Madame So has a raw, retro-inspired sound heavily influenced by Liz Phair, The Violent Femmes, Lemonheads, Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, and touches of Nina Simone. Her unique brand of pop alt-rock has gained airplay on BBC radio and serious props from AllMusic and AfroPunk.

Her latest single “If Only You Were Dead” is a bold follow up to her 2013 debut The Sell-by Date EP.
