Sammus is back with another hard-hitting single with an important message. The New York-based MC, who has been candid in her music about her struggles with depression, is taking on sexism in all its forms.

In her latest, “Song About Sex,” Sammus talks double standards, slut shaming, and even calls out “Hotep Niggas.”

“I made this song to discuss toxic sexual relationships in my own life, with the hope of easing the guilt many women often feel about bad sexual encounters and calling attention to men’s entitlement to women’s bodies,” she says.

Sammus, who is currently touring (check dates HERE) is also set to release her debut LP, Pieces In Space on 10/28.
