2016 Critics' Choice Awards Fashin Viola Davis Janelle Monaé

Awards seasons is officially in swing, with the Critics’ Choice Awards taking place last night. Viola Davis was the big winner of the night. She was nominated for her roles in How to Get Away With Murder and Fences, and received the first-ever #SeeHer Award, for bringing more complex women characters to the screen. Davis also delivered an inspiring acceptance speech.

The Critics’ Choice red carpet was filled with a mix of indie and high fashion designers. Overall the tone was pretty muted, but there were definitely a few standout looks.
