While the fact that locks are excellent for length retention is no secret to those familiar with natural haircare, Asha Mandela, an Atlanta Georgia woman with 55 foot long locks has taken this fact to a new level. The 47-year-old mother of one, who also holds a Guinness World Record, even continued growing her hair while undergoing chemotherapy.
