Directed LisaRaye McCoy and Avery O. Williams, Skinned is a provocative character-driven drama that tackles racism, colorism, and self-hate.

Jasmine Burke stars as Jolie, a young woman who decides to bleach her skin after enduring taunts about her skin tone and facing romantic rejection. Years later, she suffers health complications from the harsh and unregulated chemicals often found in skin bleaching products.

As part of her treatment, Jolie visits a psychiatrist who helps her recount many of the traumatic experiences that lead to her decision to bleach her skin.
