There are over 21 black-owned banks in the United States, and Solange Knowles is hoping that more people take them into consideration.
The recent tragedies have moved many African Americans to stress the importance of supporting black-owned business and institutions, such as banks.
Earlier this week, Knowles shared her plans to join a black-owned bank.
“Time to literally put my money where my mouth is,” she wrote on Instagram.
