Florence Griffith Joyner

Florence Griffith Joyner was both a record breaking athlete and a trendsetter. Known as “The Fastest Woman Alive” Joyner earned her many gold and silver Olympic medals while sporting unique, original track outfits. Joyner, who once did hair and nails part-time, also showed off her skills with intricate manicures.

Sadly, Florence Griffith Joyner passed away suddenly at the age of 38 in 1998, but her legacy as both an elite athlete and a fashion icon continue to live on.
