Check out the CNN documentary series “Chicagoland”. The show showcases various leaders in the Chicago community who are at the front lines trying to make Chi-town one of the greatest cities in the States. I was especially drawn to Liz Dozier, the principal of Fenger High school who supervises one of the harshest inner city schools in the city. The issue of gang violence, particularly black on black violence in Chicago is a dire issue affecting the communities there and you clearly see Liz doing her best to bring about a positive change.
