For women of color, buying cosmetics can often be a frustrating process that results in poorly matched tones and product returns. Nigerian-American beauty blogger Ofunne Amaka hopes to change this with her new app Cocoa Swatches.

The app grew from an Instagram page of the same name that Ofunne created solely to highlight makeup swatches on darker skin tones. She eventually decided to turn the idea into a brand and recently launched an app to make Cocoa Swatches even more convenient for her followers.

Users can scroll through the Color Swatches feed to see new products and beauty tips as they are added to the app, or than search for their favorite shades. Check out some examples below. Color Swatches is available in the iTunes app store and will be coming to Android in the near future.
