Last year, high fashion shoemaker Christian Louboutin made a splash with a custom line of red nail polish for painting underneath your nails.
The brand recently expanded its growing cosmetics empire with a new line of lipsticks, in a variety of reds, and other tones, which draws inspiration from the Art Deco period as well as Egyptian queen Nefertiti. The 36-color line, comes in three different textures — Silky Satin, Velvet Matte, and Sheer Voile — each is meant to match the tones and textures of Christian Louboutin shoes and handbags. The lipsticks come in a unique bullet-shaped tube with an embellished crown design. Price-wise, these are definitely not for the faint of heart. Each Christian Louboutin Lipstick will set you back abut $90 and will be available in September at Saks Fifth Avenue.
