As Lil Kim, Missy Elliott and Da Brat reunite to perform their 1997 hit “Not Tonight (Ladies Night Remix)” at the 2014 Soul Train Awards on November 30th, students and alumni of Columbia College Chicago pays tribute to the three alongside Angie Martinez and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes at the “I Love The 90s Millennium Show,” on November 21. Inspired by “all-star team” in reality, Alexis Franklin (@lexthenaturalis) portrays Lil’ Kim, Vicki Street@(voiceofstreets) as Angie Martinez, Jovan Landry (@jlesliemonique) as Left Eye, Salyndrea Nashville (@773holly) as Da Brat, and Courtney Stocking (@court_bourtt) as Missy Elliot.

The I Love The 90s Millennium Show, hosted by Columbia’s Urban Music Association (CUMA),is an annual showcase where participants pays homage to music, fashion, film & TV, and dance from 1990-2005. This is Columbia College Chicago event where the portion of the proceeds go towards the Kamoinge-Ferman Scholarship.
