Styled by Eleni Labrou of Akedo, Jordan Butler wears the latest looks from the South African Brand. Labrou, who founded Akedo in 2014, hopes that her line will help to change how the world sees “African Fashion.”
“I wanted to represent the diversity in South Africa and the fact that, although we are all different, we are still connected,” says Labrou. “By contrasting clean silhouettes with handcrafted prints and textures, I also hope to challenge ethnographic expectations of African design.”
