The Crocker Museum in Sacramento, California is currently holding an exhibition featuring artists from The Smithsonian Museums’s collection of African-American artists. The exhibition, which continues until September 21, 2014, includes selections from Romare Bearden, Alma Thomas, Lois Mailou Jones, and many more. The Crocker Museum is also holding a series of events, including artist talks with African-American artists, as well as musical performances and film screenings.
