After dropping a series of teasers and a trailer on Instagram, Drake debuted his latest project, a short film titled Please Forgive Me, exclusively on Apple Music yesterday.

Shot by filmmaker and photographer Anthony Mandler on location in Johannesburg, South Africa and Namibia, the short film, which draws inspiration from 90’s classic Indecent Proposal, stars Fanny Neguesha. Neguesha, a Belgian model, singer, and dancer has seen a flurry of press come her way over the past 24 hours.

South African-based Nigerian actor Sonni Chidiebere also stars in Please Forgive Me, as a powerful man that offers up $1 million to sleep with Neguesha’s character.

And while it should come as no surprise that Drake’s single “One Dance” features prominently in the production, along with other songs off of VIEWS, we also hear a clip of Fela Kuti’s 1977 track “Colonial Mentality.” Please Forgive Me features original songs by Noah “40” Shebib.

Check out a trailer from Please Forgive Me below. In order to watch the film in its entirety, you’ll have to sign up for Apple Music.
