Produced by Azania Rizing, Not in My Neighbourhood is a 72-minute documentary film that looks at how urban planning and urbanization are often born of racism and lead to gentrification and displacement. The documentary features the stories of the current and former residents of Capetown and Johannesburg in South Africa and the Brooklyn and Harlem in New York City. Brooklyn urban planner Vanessa Leon is featured prominently in the film. Watch a trailer below.
