Listen to this. B.Steady’s Cover of Miguel. Pussy Is Mine

B.Steady2I had to get out. The venue was too crowded. My special lady crush at the time holding my hand down the long stairway and there she was standing right in front of me. There was  B.Steady in the flesh, in all her glory.

She had just performed along with some other talents at the show “The Revival Tour” that night. There she was–the intellectual laid-back bad-ass. I found out that night that not only is B.Steady a singer/songwriter, but she’s also a poet and a filmmaker. Steadwell is a D.C talent who’s currently getting her education on at prominent HBCU, Howard University. You’ve heard this song before from Miguel, but the song takes on an entirely different tone and sound—being that Steadwell puts her personal flair to the song. Not only that, but the declaration of ownership now taking on a new meaning being that a woman proudly croons about, clears throat, the vagina being hers.
