Asa- “Dead Again”

The Nigerian singer-songwriter Asa is at it again. Pinned by Forbes magazine as one of the top 40 most powerful celebrities from Africa, the young talent is showing us exactly why she’s earned the distinction. The artist who’s based in the city of lights is set to release her latest album  ‘Bed of Stone’  on August 25th. Definately be on the lookout for the album, until then enjoy this charactically mellow and painfully honest tune from Asa.

Kelis – “Get Along With You”

Kelis’ album “Food” finally came out and I’ve been playing the hell out of it, as well as her old stuff. Here’s an older gem from from some years back “Get Along With You”.

Miguel- “Simple Things”

I’ve been watching and re-watching this video since it came out. I love the black and white aesthetic, it’s beautifully shot.

B.Steady- “Don’t Go”

The multi-facted talent is one that stays in my musical rotation.
