From braids to fades, and mohawks to faux-hawks, the level of creativity that we approach our with starts at a young age.

UK-based photographer Emily Stein decided to celebrate some of these unique styles in this bright, colorful series, titled “Hairdo.” Stein even encouraged to children to chose their own poses in order to highlight their creativity.

“I would [want] people who look at the series [to] feel the positive energy of youth and the spirit of undiluted individuality,” Stein tells The Huffington Post.”
