After a highly-anticipated face-off at Wimbledon, 20-time champion Serena Williams beat older sister Venus Williams, 6-4, 6-3, and will advance to the quarterfinal.

The sisters completed the match to wild applause from the audience.

“It’s never easy to play someone you love and care about,” said Serena to the BBC. “You just play for the competition and enjoy the moment.”

“I thought, ‘I’m 33 and she’s 35, I don’t know how many more moments like this you’re going to have’.”

The Williams sisters have played against each other 26 times since 1998, with Serena Williams winning 15 of the matches. Today’s match makes their sixth time facing off at Wimbledon.
