Beyoncé covers an iconic issue of Vogue by becoming the third black woman, behind Naomi Campbell and Halle Berry to grace the publications September issue in all of the 123-year history of Vogue.

Shot by Mario Testino, the indomitable pop star wears a coat and dress by Marc Jacobs.

This latest cover makes Queen Bey’s third Vogue cover. She last covered Vogue back in 2013 for the March 2013 issue, photographed by Patrick Demarchelier, and in 2009 for the April 2009 issue, shot by Mario Testino.

This also marks Beyoncé’s first publication interview in nearly a year.

Rumor has it, the Queen Bey is revving up her media appearances in anticipation of a fall music video premiere.
